There’s signature flair about every great piece. The Swoosh; the apple; the sportsman atop his horse. Such branding makes pieces unique and also ensures a certain quality. To this, Italian luxury label Tod’s introduces a new range of men’s bags for Spring/Summer 2013: the Double Stripe Selection. This collection of handmade pieces includes carry-ons, briefcases and portfolios, each distinguished with two bold stripes along the sides. Of course, bags by Tod’s are made with premium Italian leather, constructed to withstand the demands of every day use, yet also crafted to compliment the refined gentleman who dares to rock one. The pieces are fully customizable at Tod’s retail locations in New York and Los Angeles. Look for the Tod’s Spring/Summer 2013 Double Stripe Selection on the brand’s web shop or at their U.S. and European brick and mortar storefronts. [See The Collection]

After honing his craft producing exclusively made-to-order pieces, we are proud to present the very first retail collection from Oliver Ruuger. The collection launches with four distinct umbrellas, commissioned especially for LN-CC in a custom range of materials and colourways. Each umbrella is hand crafted in Ruuger’s small, London workshop using many intricate processes in order to execute these bold, premium pieces. Umbrellas are used as traditional, everyday items and have almost been forgotten in design. Oliver Ruuger however, has reintroduced these familiar items as something luxurious and indulgent by using specialist, time consuming techniques and carefully-sourced exotic leathers, woods and metals.

The New York City-based luxury label Marc Jacobs is going to launch a fresh new scent this August, Honey. Marc Jacobs has been working with Ann Gottlieb (the nose behind Calvin Klein’s Obsession, CK One and Christian Dior’s J’adore) and fellow perfumier Annie Buzantian (concocter of fragrances for Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Azzaro) on a new flanker scent to last year’s Dot fragrance, set to be unveiled as Honey. According to WWD, the scent, which will arrive in stores in the late summer, “has top notes of pear, fruity punch and juicy mandarin; a heart of orange blossom, peach nectar and honeysuckle, and a drydown of honey, golden vanilla and smooth woods.” The parfum will appear in 30, 50 and 100 ml sprays as well as a shower gel and body lotion.
Having produced several versions of its highly recognizable four-counter in-line chronograph, the Swiss watchmaker Eberhard has now released a model designed for pure durability. The Chrono 4 Géant “Full Injection” (around $12,000 USD) is subjected to a special process to saturate its steel case with carbon, thereby creating a harder, more scratch-resistant material. The case is then coated with a diamond-like carbon treatment for color. The watch also boasts water resistance up to 200 meters and a textured rubber strap.
