Every man should own at least one good pair of shorts. Comfortable and relaxed, they're the perfect fair-weather fall-back, and, as Style Director Mr. Dan May demonstrates in our new video, there are a number of ways to wear them. To illustrate this point, we have chosen J.Crew's Stanton Chino Shorts ($60 USD). Constructed from rugged cotton twill, they are available on MR PORTER in a wide range of colours, but to emphasise their versatility we've chosen just one: a sun-bleached shade of lobster pink that brings to mind an East Coast sensibility, and imparts a summery, preppy flavour to each of our five looks. Shorts are inherently informal, and will likely never be appropriate for dinner at The Ritz, but it's possible nevertheless to dress them up or down to suit a variety of laid-back summer scenarios. Enjoy.

It's not quite as angular as most modern seating, but it's also a little more inviting. Named for the Danish word for tranquility, the Ro Armchair ($2,550 USD) features a curvy, sculptural design from Spanish designer Jaime Hayon that provides both comfort and privacy. The seat is 1.5 times as wide as your standard chair, giving you extra room to stretch and move, or sit your tablet/book/kid/laptop next to you. It'll be available in September at select retailers and comes in nine colors, broken down into traditional (black, grey, and taupe), bright (violet, blue, and yellow), and soft (light pink, sage green, and sand).

An article posted on the magazine’s website this week gives the rundown of the 2013 list, which will appear in the June 24th issue. Woods had topped the Forbes list from 2001-2011 — staying there despite the loss of some sponsors in the wake of the sex scandal that engulfed him in November of 2009. But he fell to third last year, behind boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Forbes calculates he is back on top, raking in $78.1 million over the 12 months from June 1, 2012 through June 1, 2013 from prize money, endorsements, appearance fees and golf course design work.
